Leucorrhea Symptoms

A condition in which white discharge is secreted from the vagina, which results in irritation or inflammation of the genital organs lining in women is termed as Leucorrhea. It is generally a naturally occurring process, but if there is excessive white vaginal discharge accompanied by other problems then it can be a symptom of vaginal infection. Leucorrhea is a commonly occurring problem in women, especially during the fertile years. The discharge problem in women is not uncommon, but if it is in abundance and so problematic that sanitary pad has to be used to control it then it is a serious matter. It is a known fact that the genital passage in women requires appropriate chemical balance so that there are no chances of infection. Due to which fluids are secreted so that chemical balance and elasticity is maintained. Vaginal discharge which also shows changes in color and is foul smelling requires proper Leucorrhea Treatment for complete relief.
Commonly Occuring Symptoms of Leucorrhea:-
• The main symptom is the presence of the excessive white discharge. This kind of secretion can be for a substantial time duration or can start and stop on its own. In case the problem is mild which is due to imbalance of the chemical nature of the genital passage the discharge will get normal once the main cause of the problem has been removed.
• In case the condition does not subside after a certain time period then it can be due to some serious problem and requires immediate Leucorrhea Treatment. One of the effective medications available in the market to deal with the discharge problems in females is Lady Care Capsules.
• The serious problem is evident if the color of the discharge is either green, brown or yellow.
• Even if the secretion is white, but if it is profuse it is a sign of infection.
• If there is pain in the abdomen or itchy sensation in addition to the vaginal discharge this suggests presence of serious problem.
• Other symptoms are weakness, indigestion, constipation, vertigo, headache and presence of discharge on the undergarments.
It is to be noted that Leucorrhea cannot be regarded as problematic in itself. It is normally the body’s immune system response, but can take a serious form if not cured in time. Various symptoms can be a response of some hormonal imbalance, STD and vaginal infection.
Yeast or infections are very common and affect female’s genital tract and can lead to Leucorrhea. Such infection triggers the inflammatory response and this stimulates the immunity system. Hence there is an increase in the fluid production, which is itchy, thick and generally white. Trichomoniasis, which is a commonly occurring sexually transmitted disease also leads to Leucorrhea. Under this condition the discharge is usually yellow or green in color.
Using unhygienic toilets and dirty undergarments is a common reason of Leucorrhea. In many cases, vaginal medications, latex allergy, contraceptives, stress, harsh detergents or soaps aggravate the problem of vaginal discharge in women.
